    The same thing happen to me about the same time as you, I have been throwin parts at the problem and nothin seems to work. Have you figured it out? I'm about to take it some where, but then i don't want to spend the money on something i can do. So any help will be a big help.

    Thanks, no it's the iron head L98/350 with Tuned Port Injection.

    It's our ragged out grocery getter now, the drive-train is all original and still going strong, but the old 85 Z51 Vette needs a lot of TLC.
    It will still spin in second gear on dry payment.

    Mine is an '09. The '86 Z51 was supposed to be quite the high performance car! Pretty neat car you have there. Was that the one with the special engine?
