I have two 1997 F150's Both are identical, color, step style bed, extended cab 3 door, except 1 is 4x4, the other 2wd. 4x4 has 5.4, 2wd has 4.6...
With that all said. Here is where im confused... i cut the stock muffler off the 2wd and its loud, but sounds decent, sounds real good with flowmaster on it.. The 4x4 had a single in dual out muffler and was kinda quiet. i cut it off today and it still kinda quiet with no muffler on it. The 2wd was like 3 times louder with no muffler. What do yall think
