Default 2016 f150 deactivate horn chirp on door lock

Adding remote start on my 2016 f150 and it requires 3 presses of lock button on fob. Is there a way I can deactivate the horn blows, I am sure neighbors don't want to hear that at 4 am.
i have everything I have read so far but guess those don't apply to the 2016 thanks for help

Yes, in order to make changes you will need to get the extended license....

I am not sure it is worth it just to deactivate horn. I may just ask the dealer to do it for me. I do not do any programming and may this may open up to problems I do not need. thanks for the input. and i was wrong, it was the pat system i was thinking of, but see for any programming the extended license is needed. thanks again for the help.

I really doubt that the dealership will do it since it's not an official Ford modification. You might be able to find someone on this forum near you that would be willing to help you out.

It's easy to do. I have the 3x lock remote start system on my 17 XLT and using Forscan, I disabled the horn on lock. Still flashes to tell me it's locked, but no longer honks on second or third lock press. Well worth it.

EDIT: That's what I get for drinking and surfing the forums, didn't realize this thread was old. My bad.

Default Extended license

So is it worth it to buy the license to be able to use Forscan or is it just as cost efficient to take it into the dealer, (especially if you have more than one function changed)?

They do a rental with cruise America i believe, featuring the f150 and 650 I would imagine they have insurance and work semi okay?

Either way I also am very curious to see if this OP ended up getting one? Or if anyone else has this setup on here?

seems possible and interesting?
