Summers, how well do the switchbacks work with the reflector bowl painted black? I plan on paining mine too, but I am curious if they're still pretty visible.

They work so well, I can see my blinkers in the reflection on the trunks/tailgates of other vehicles during the day. It helps to have that "projector" type lens on the front of it.

I looked up the turn signal bulbs and purchased them, but as suspected they are very fast. What do I need that i can buy local to slow them down.
(very nice write up btw)

You need an EP27 flasher relay. They're available at your local auto parts store. Swap it out for the current one that's under your dash.
