Wife has a 2013 Equinox that will numb your fingers if you leave them in front of the vent for a few seconds.

Just did it to mine and I can also report that my AC is about 3 degrees cooler. Tested at 86 degrees with 80% humidity. Took about 30 minutes for me to do.

great thread, nice fix. Interestingly, today is the 100 year anniversary of the hottest temp ever recorded on earth. 134 degrees! Where else but Death Valley, Ca.

My old truck was the same way. I don't know what GM does to their A/C, but it is INSTANT cold and throws ice cubes at you.

I agree. My '04 Z71 had awesome AC. On the flip side, it took forever in the winter to heat up. My '08 4Runner is the best of both worlds. I picked up some rubber pipe insulation tonight at Lowes. Ready to wrap.
