Default manual to automatic ?

I have a 1992 f150 4x4 4.9 i currently have a m5od 5 speed transmission and i would like to have an automatic possibly an aod has anyone ever done this and do you have any advice?

You will need parts off the column, the shifter cable, the dash gear indicator the wiring harness,the flex plate, torque convertor, transmission mount and the computer from the donor vehicle.
The driveshaft end may be different, the starter is different, possibly the tr/mount crossmember.
And there's some wiring changes, I believe.
Doable, but a little more than an afternoon project.
For parts, you're better to buy a donor vehicle maybe.
