How to put rod bearings in a 300 6 cylinder without pull the motor out

Hey everyone, I have 94 ford f150 that have to put rod bearings in cause of a knock. I know I can get the oil pan off by jacking the motor up. I just don't know how to go about removing & installing the bearings. Any help or advice would be appreciated

You would remove the cap one at a time rotating the crank to bring the throw down for access. keep in mind you still need to check the crank for scoring and measure for clearance and out of round using a micrometer and/ or plastigauge. If its knocking there there is a good chance the crank and possibly the rod will be damaged.
There is old school method of grinding rod journals on some engines while still in the truck but if you have damage your better off to pull the engine, remove the crank and have it machined or replaced.

Ok thanks that's what I thought. Do you know the torque specs on the bolts on the rod bearings

As a general rule 45 lb ft but I would look it up or invest a few $ in a model specific manual. [Haynes, Chilton, etc]
