Default 4.9 swap with a 5.8

I have a 91 Lariat XLT with a straight 6, 4.9 and my uncle got the idea stuck in my head to look for a donor pickup with a 5.8 or something bigger to convert my 1/2 ton to a 3/4 ton. My questions are what's all needed to do this? How much time will this take and how much money will be taken out of my wallet from this? Pros and cons of doing the swap. Stuff like that. Thanks

Not sure about time and cost, but I know its not just an engine difference between a 1/2 and 3/4 ton.

Yeah I know there's more to it but I was wondering what I need other than the motor, transmission, axles, differentials, and springs because I know there's more to it but everywhere I look trying to find the answer to my question I come up with a blank.
