Does my engine have COP or Coil Over Plugs .

The reason I ask is Im trying to fix a check engine light problem . PO 171 & po304 Misfire No.4 cyl . Which leads me to believe that ignition system isnt working right .

I have the same truck, you have standard plug wires. I recently had those exact codes on cylinder #4. It ended up being just a bad plug. I replaced all the plugs and wires with motorcraft ones. I also had a valve cover leak on both sides so I went ahead and replaced those gaskets though I do not think this has anything to do with the codes.
