1988 f150 has vibration 2300 rpm
I have 88 f150 5 speed manual trans and 4.9L 6 cylinder. I just started to get a vibration between 2300 to 2600 rpm's and can't figure out where it is coming from. I think it could possibly be a U joint, the trans shifts fine and the clutch does not slip, there is no obvious engine miss. It is not noticeable at lower rpm's or running down the highway only under acceleration. Any idea's would be greatly appreciated !!!!!

Hey Cragger1988
First see if it's driveline. Drive the truck and put it at the rpm/speed where it's making the vibration. Then shift gears and see if it goes away while maintaining the same speed. If it goes away then it might not be your u joints. Either way I'd get under to check anything obvious first. Mounts, bolts for tightness in your driveshaft etc.
Another thing is don't forget tires. Especially if it's at the same speed. Try rotating them if it is. Vibrations are a pain to find sometimes hope this helps at all
