Question Removing Plastic Retainer/Clip Xmas tree w/o breaking?

How to safely remove the Plastic Retainer Clip mostly found on Door Panel & Bumper that looks like a Christmas Tree? What tool do I need? Is it reusable?

i usually just get some needle nose pliers under the top cap, and slowly pry the little guys out. haven't broken one, and they go right back in and stay put. If you do damage them, most auto parts stores like O'Riley or whatever will carry them!

Just pry em out. If they get damaged, replacements are cheap
