Default New gears

I've been pondering switching 4.10 gears into my stock 8.8" rear end. It's on a 93 300 I6 5-speed. Summit racing has a 4.10 ring and pinion set and I was wondering what else I would need to do it. I know it's gotta be way more expensive than I think and was wondering roughly how much it would be. Here's a link to the set: http://m.summitracing.com/parts/fms-m-4209-88410

Order summits pos trac ($249) an eBay the ring gear ($136) an depends if u want to replace the axle bearings the kit is from $50-$110. Plus u gotta press the bearings on also, so of no tools, gotta pay for that too . Doing the rear end on my 95 f150 w/ i6

I'm in the same boat as you thinking of re gearing just not knowing what the final cost will be. What size tires are you running?
