Default Installing GT40 intake.

I have a 95 F150. Does anyone know what hoses and things have to be hooked up and what can be done away with when installing a 5.0 gt40 explorer intake? Is the Fuel rail hose for the egr valve? Can you do away with air pump check valve? Any help is appreciated.

You can remove the air pump, crossover tube and plug the air injection ports in the back of the cylinder heads and install a mustang eliminator pulley but will need a different length belt. However, I wouldnt waste my time with the Explorer intake. it's smaller than the stock truck intake in terms of internal volume. The runners have a smaller cross section while total runner length is about the same. Your overall torque will suffer.
