Anyone got any tips on changing Valve Cover Gasket on 92 F150 5.0L?
 

Hello. Changing the Valve Cover gaskets on my 302. Driver side rear is leaking oil EVERYWHERE. I honestly am not mechanically inclined at all. Just have simple tools. Any tips before I do this Saturday evening? Anything I should know to do/not do? Anything??

Should be a fairly easy repair.
Tip #1 take your time
Tip #2 take pictures of all hoses/wires you may have to disconnect so they go back where they belong
Tip #3 be careful not to drop anything ( gasket material, bolts,etc.) down into the cylinder heads.
Tip #4 tighten valve cover bolts evenly and in a cris/cross pattern ( like you would do when changing a tire)
