Adjusting the camber on 1996 ford f150 2wd
Hi, I'm super new to this forum (just made an account) and I am trying to figure out a way to adjust the camber on my 1996 ford f150 2wd. I had recently put on a 2" leveling kit in the front and noticed that the tires had a severely positive camber.
So I took it to some place to get it aligned and they said that with my i beam suspension that it wasn't possible. So, more than unhappy, i asked my mechanic what i could do and he said the only way is to either bend the i beams (reallly!?), or get adjustable ball joints (couldnt event find any that exist for my truck that are adjustable or offset.) I also mentioned something like this (http://www.ingallseng.com/59400-full...olt-axles.html) to him, but he said that it wouldn't work.
In the mean time, while im figuring all of this out i removed the darn leveling kit. Im just at my wits end as to what WILL FOR SURE work and what will not. Im not stupid when it comes to vehicles but i KNOW that there are many more people on here that are much smarter and can help me out. Thanks in advance!
