Removing factory antenna on 94 F150 xl 4.9
I recently bought a 94 F150 XL 4.9L, but someone had removed the antenna mast and broke part of the base. I bought a replacement but I have to figure out how to remove the factory antenna(base and cable). Any suggestions or tips that y'all can give me? Thanks.

Pull the inner fender well out for access.

If I remember right from the last time I had the front clip off of my 93, the antenna base is located under the front cowl which is that part full of holes between the windshield and hood.

Agreed with Chris_1, just snap off the chrome piece, undo the 4 screws holding the antenna base and unplug the wire

unplugging cable
How hard should i have to pull? Guessing the rubber around the cable is a seal piece that pulls out of the aluminum casting?
My cowl was totally packed!! crazy, as it was sitting out under oak and pine trees ~18 years, 1984 F-250 6.9 diesel for $1000.I think rodents got in through the duckbills somehow, both inner fender wells are all torn up too.
