Default 1990 radio issues.

The radio stopped working in my 1990, along with my interior dome light. I'm guessing it's the wiring in the dash. How hard is it to put a new radio power wire in? There's a local shop that wants 65$ to re install the factory wiring harnesses and get everything all straightened out. I'd that worth it?

You might be wasting 65$ for guesses, did they confirm this is the problem? Did you check fuses?

I did. But I'll double check the fuses. I have an amp in The truck, could I run the radio off of that?

Double checked the fuses, and two were blown. Replaced them, and now I have a radio again. Thanks man! You just saved me at least 65$!
