I have an xd9000i winch it older (3 pin) not sure how old tho came with the truck I got the badlands wireless remote because I saw the that all you had to do to make it work with the warn winch was open it and externally ground the wireless receiver and it works but if I hold the winch in or out button for more than a couple seconds and it blows the tiny fuse inside the receiver I bought some fuses on eBay and have tried a couple different things I have it grounded straight to the battery everyone else doing the mod was grounding the receiver to the same place the grounds for the winch were going but the bolt on mine wasn't giving any and I didn't want to brake it would that make a difference? Where I'm grounding it to? If I just tap the button it will keep working and not blow the fuse
