Default What is this part..?
And what is it's function? My 1987 XLT 5.0 4x4 won't and the guy working on the truck thinks this part is bad. He calls it a "coil condenser". The folks at the parts store cannot find it in their computers.

It's a condensor. Try a better parts store.

IIRC that's used to eliminate/absorb voltage spikes that cause radio interference from the ignition system.
