Default Turn signal issue

Alright so I changed my head light and turn signal on my driver side the casing and all. Now that turn signal doesn't work at all. The only time it works is with the hazards. It's a 1988 f150 xlt lariat

Why were you changing it to begin with? Did it work before you changed it?

Yes and because my dad destroyed it when he hit a car. This side doesn't light up at all while my passenger side lights up when I turn my lights on.

Depending on how bad the headlight lens and front end was damaged, damage may have occurred to the wiring leading up to the bulbs...

Did you replace with new bulbs with matching part numbers? Did you notice any damage to the lighting sockets before installing bulbs, eg: broken plastic, metal prongs bent/missing? Have you done any troubleshooting with a multi meter to see if the bulbs are receiving a signal?
