Default Taillight/Dashboard Fuse keeps blowing

I have a 1987 F150 4.9 4X4. I first noticed this problem a couple of weeks ago when my instrument light went out on my way home. After being pulled over by the cops, I realized it was also my taillights. Everything else works fine. I replaced the fuse(15 amp) and it has worked fine ever since. However, yesterday it blew again on my way home so I put in a 20 amp fuse and it was fine for about ten minutes, changed it again, and the same thing ten minutes later. I have not done any electrical work on this truck(radio, trailer wiring, etc) and I am not doing anything that I have noticed is triggering the event(turning on radio, dome light, etc). It just goes out seemingly at random.

That should cover it and I really hope someone can help me get to the bottom of it. Thanks
