I have a new to me 89 f150 4.9 and I have been finding a lot of hacked together wiring. I found this connector today that wasn’t plugged into anything but had a jumper. It was hanging by the steering column. Does anyone know what it’s for?

 

Clutch safety switch maybe?

 

I think it is! Cross referencing a picture off rockauto the connector looks similar. Thank you!
