Default P0651 code

I've got a 95 F150 xlt,5.0 and I'm getting a P0651 code. Where do I start looking to fix it?

The P0651 code stands for “Sensor Reference Voltage “B” Circuit/Open.” It's triggered when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects issues with the 5-volt reference signal. Blown fuses or fusible links are possible causes for the code. Rough running and misfires are two symptoms to keep an eye out for. I have these problems intermittently and want to know where to start checking for the cause.

Well, that's a start
Now you use the pinpoint tests to see what is actually wrong
With a 1995 PCED you can look up that code and find the pinpoint test steps for it
I have a 94 PCED and can post them (if you want) which are most likely the same for a 1995

Just realized a code P0651 and a 1995 truck do not jive
4 digit P codes are OBD2 codes
Meaning 1996 and newer for most vehicles
So my PCED does not list 4 digit P codes
Just in case, I checked to see if that code might be a 3 digit EEC code
It is not because the codes go from 639 to 654 with no codes in between
So, double check your code and maybe double check the year

Definitely a 1995 F150 XLT 5.0. Jumped the OBD connector and rechecked the code, it's 651.

Well, there is no code 651 in my book
My book is a 1994 and not a 1995 so maybe there is a code 651 for a 1995
The 1994 book skips from 639 over to 654 with no 651
Most of those 3 digit codes were the same over the years that had 3 digit codes
I think you should do a re flashout and code test again

I will soon as I get a chance. I'm thinking that the guy I got it from put a new motor in it and didn't clear it out after.
