Default noise coming from dashboard

I live in Ohio and right now it's pretty cold. So when I turn my heat on I hear a loud horrible noise coming from my dashboard. Some times are worse than others and sometimes it doesn't happen at all. I'm wondering what would cause this and if anyone else is having that problem.

When you turn your heat on, I assume it's your heater(blower) fan. Those things can make some weird squeals. Or is it something else?

It's usually a really loud squeal. What would be the easiest way to fix it?

The simplest and most sure way would be to just replace the blower motor.

88 XLT is right - blower motor. Best idea is a new one.
