alright heres the truck.... 97 F250HD 5.8l automatic trans. I got in it the other day turned the key, it turned over twice real slow then quit... okay charged the battery, then it just clicked... got a new battery, one click everytime i turn the key. replaced the starter, same one click... replaced the solenoid... same one click. all my wires are exactly how they were before anything was changed... please help me out here im about to have it towed... tow truck is 150 just to tow it ten miles to the nearest garage....

Does everything else seem to be working ok like guages, lights, radio? Are you getting full voltage to the starter and solenoid? Do all tge grounds appear to be in good shape?

i meant to post this yesterday... it was indeed a bad ground!!! the ground strap from the intake manifold to the firewall was split in half. put a new one in and fired right up! im very upset with myself that i over looked that and spent the money i did on the starter, battery, and solenoid.....
