No power at all
Hello everyone this is my first post so I recently bought a 1993 ford f150 as a project and I had run into the first issue the truck seems to get no power at all and if you move the positive cables it gets power but it recently stopped doing that so I have stripped some of the cable and cut the old wire off and hooked up to the battery and still no power does anyone have any idea how I could fix this and I also changed the solenoid switch and 2 weeks after I bought the truck
Do you mean there is no cranking of the engine by the starter? I am assuming this is what you mean.
I would remove all B+ and ground connections at the engine block and the mounting surface of the solenoid.. Completely clean all connections. ANY questionable cables should be replaced. They could be faulty and hidden under the insulation. Since the condition was affected by cable wiggling,I suspect a bad connection or faulty cable. You could try tapping on the starter (to check) and see if there is any activity out of it.
If the problem still is present, with the assistance of a helper ( to turn the key to crank position) start measuring voltage with a volt meter from the battery to the starter. I would then have the battery and starter tested.

the headlights haven’t worked in guessing it was the headlight switch was the problem and I changed it and I tried to wiggle the positive cables and nothing at all would happen so I don’t know if my headlights work or not practically I have no crank and no power
A DVOM is your friend (digital volt ohm meter)
What is the actual battery voltage?
I sure would check the negative battery cable ground connection at the block and check the battery cables closely
