Door chime/Headlight chime not working

Door chime/Headlight chime not working
I have a 93 F150 that is fairly new to me. I found lots of posts on how to disable the door/headlight chime but nothing on what to do if they aren't working. I pulled the chime and put a 9 volt battery to the terminals and it buzzed like it is supposed to, but nothing when it is plugged in. I am wondering if it could be the ignition module. I do have 12 volts at the module, so I think it must be a switch somewhere. Any thoughts?
