I just read about a recall on 1994 thru F150 pertaining to cruise deactivation switch that was a fire hazard. Looks like Ill be stopping by Ford next week for a freebee! Here is a like to the recall.

My truck was fixed in 2008 for the recall. OK Iv'e checked the fuse in cab, also been in the module and things seemed to be moving very freely and for good measure I shot some sea foam lube in before sealing it up. In addition I replaced the pressure sensor on the master cylinder and Ive still got no cruise. Are there any other fuses I may be over looking? As stated previously when I turn the cruise on I can hear actuation of the resume/set/coast buttons but no engagement of the cruise. When the cruise off button is pushed I hear no actuation of any buttons. I have a trip from Carolina to Mid Florida planned in a couple weeks and I'd really like to nix this. Thanks for any help in advance!

I think it could still be a bad clock spring even though the horn works. I don't know how you'd test for it other than replacing it (~$50 part).

What would be the labor on a clock spring if I took it to a Shop? I really dont want an airbag blowing up in my face

If it's your clockspring your air bag light will be blinking. Do you have any trouble lights on? Pull your codes, follow JCMS sticky at the top of the main 87-96 forum.

It could be something as simple as the switch on the steering wheel being bad, they are easy to replace and readily available at any junk yard. I'm not sure what you are hearing when you push those buttons but mine doesn't make any sounds when I'm using the cruise and push the set (to increase speed) or coast (to decrease speed).

Just saw your post about hooking up your fog lights, you say you tapped into the airbag wire, you may have fried the thermal fuse in the ADM, you will still be getting a blinking air bag light if this is the case.
