Charging system questions
So when I sart the truck it seems like and the gauge shows that the power comes up and then a slight dip and the back up and stabilizes.
Doesn’t seem normal to me.
Tgoughts?

Don't rely on the dash gauge. A cheap digital multimeter will tell the story.

If you have any suspicions about the charging system, start by inspecting/cleaning the battery terminals:

Until you know the battery terminals are good, all other measurements & tests are moot since dirty terminals will likely skew the readings.
