battery polarity
1952 Ford F-6 flatbed truck w/later Ford V8 motor. 6 Volt system
Was this system positive ground? if not, is there a reason someone would change it to be positive ground - or is it even possible?

Most of the old 6 volt systems were positive ground, I'm pretty sure the 1952 Ford truck was as well.
Just for the sake of discussion, yes the polarity can be changed.
