Hi can some one please tell me the best bolt straight in alternator for 1994 f150. 4.9 L .

The optional 130A 3G is totally PnP. IDK if MotorCraft still offers a reman of it - shop around. Maybe F6PZ-10346-XARM2 or F6PZ-10346-XA. I put a used one from the JY on mine several years ago.

The wrecker has a 1994 ford e 350 5.8L 130amp alternator for sale . Does any one happen to know if this will bolt straight in and work with 1994 f150 4.9L.

There's only 1 alternator bracket for the serpentine 4.9L. But it has 2 pairs of alternator holes; 1 for the small-frame 2G & 3G, and the other for the large-frame alternators. So yes.

I have a 95a 3G Alternator for the 2G to 3G conversion can some one please tell me if 200 amp fuse is to great for the 4 gauge cable going from alternator to starter relay .

4ga is the size for the main battery cables, and the starter. The stock 3G output wire is 8ga, and uses either a 12ga fusible link, or a 175A MEGA fuse.

Ok Thanks I will take this info to the wreckers he says he has some thing out of a Taurus for me to look at.
