So one day I was trying to start up my truck, had to go under the hood while it was raining and adjust the battery cables cause it was loose, then It died on me, and every since then I've had to go under neath the truck, and jump across the starter solenoid (under the truck on starter) its the only way I can get it to start with a screwdriver jumping.

Can anyone help me? Cause I have to have two people to start the truck.

When I jump across the relay or try to start the truck, I just hear one loud click sounding like from the relay.

Bad connection, bad fender solenoid or a bad wire.
Undo, thoroughly clean and reassemble all the connections.
Very likely could be the wire from the solenoid on the fender to the starter - the little one. It usually has a connection about 4" away from the starter

I just retightened everything and connected the fender solenoid, and accidently blew it apart, so tomorrow im gonna try and get a new fender solenoid and see if that fixes the problem
