Line 6

Just got my ole 88 running again(busted steering box) this weekend after it's been sitting for almost 2 years. As I was coming back down the dirt road I hit a real bumpy patch and the windshield wipers came on by themselves and wouldn't turn off or adjust to any setting I switched it to. I remember having this problem when I parked it two years ago. I know I tried to diagnose it back then but I don't remember a thing I did. Also they will stop and stutter randomly while stuck on.

All I'm asking is if anyone has had this problem or heard of it and knows of a fix. I don't have a lot of time to work on it tomorrow and I need it to pass inspection. Pretty sure they check windshield wipers here in NC. Thanks for any help, I really do appreciate it. I'm leaning towards the switch since it wouldn't respond to any setting I switched it to but I'm not sure how the system works. It's an 88... how complicated can it be...?
