Default 1995 XL Rear Hazard Light Problem

Ok so did some searching around and haven't seen this addressed but if it was and my search was off I apologize.

I have a weird item that is confounding me. Blinkers work front and rear, brake lights work, head lights work, parking lights work front and rear. The item that is confounding me is that the hazards don't work on the rear. They work fine on the front and I can hear the relay clicking.

The truck is a 1995 XL 4x4 with the 4.9L 6 Cyl.

Any ideas?

Try the flasher unit first. There should be a separate one from the turn signal flasher.
Or it could be a wire or the multi function switch

Thank you for the reply. Question though, if it was the flasher unit wouldn't the lights on the front not work? This is what seems odd is that the front lights flash just fine, only the rear doesn't flash when the hazards are on.

Probably. But just in case it's in the flasher, you don't want to go through the whole system and find it was a $4 flasher.
More likely to be in the wiring or M/F switch but....
