Default 1995 Ford F 150 XL

Hey.....my truck died in a parking lot.No electrical power even with a jumper cable connected.
Is there a main fuse that would disable the key and starter button? 302 5spd.
All help appreciated............Robin

A '95 doesn't have a starter button. If someone wired one in, you'd have to talk to that person about how it was done.

But generally: if jumper cables don't work, it's usually corrosion on the battery posts, inside the terminal clamps. Click this & read all the captions in the album:

The starter button was installed because the ignition lock in the steering column was hosed.

That's VERY dangerous, for several reasons. If your insurance company ever finds out (like if you're in a wreck, or the truck is stolen), they might deny coverage & drop you. I'd get it fixed right ASAP. Click these & read the captions:
