1990 F150 Radio problems
the radio was turning on and off and now wont turn on at all.
held it to the battery and it will light up so the stero itself is fine.
ground is good. will get 12Volts from the accessory but nothing coming from the 12 volt constant. also when the ignition is off the ignition wire is still at 12 volts? i want to say i have the ignition wire and 12 volt constant mixed up but thats the way it was before and was fine. i thought it would be bad ground for sure. any ideas and if it is the 12 volt constant can i just run a wire directly to the battery to fix it?

How's the actual wiring job? One of my truck's previous owners did a HACK job with the stereo wiring and it had intermittent power issues too. Sometimes it wouldn't turn off either. I took out the stereo to see what was up and the whole harness was a mess of wires connected with electrical tape. No solder, no butt connectors, no nothing.

I recently bought my 1990 f150 and I can't see the screen on the stock radio unless I'm right next to it is there anyway to make the screen brighter so I can actually see my radio display?

You could try starting your own thread instead of asking in a thread almost a year old. How bright is it at night? I don't know what the stock radios are like.
