What's your method to remove the door pin?

Ok, I got my bottom pin replaced today on my driver side as well. Although there was no way to drive it up from the bottom, the pin had a head on the bottom. and the top was what looked like riveted out. I used the Dremel to cut through the center. Then with a Vise grip pushed the two pieces out threw there respected directions. I must say removing the bushings is where I struggled. Especially the top one. I did manage to get them out. nicking the door a few times but hey a new paint job is on the list down the road anyways.
