All I did was when you buy the new stereo it has a metal sleeve around it and I just trimmed the housing in the truck a little and slid the sleeve for the stereo in there and bent the little tabs to lock it in place. As far as the model number I don't know off the top of my head but u can look at it when I get off work

Look into the kenwood excelon line of radios they do a lot for the money. 3 sets of 4v pre outs, so they are easy to add onto (4 channel and sub amps). Kenwood offers a 2 year warrantee if you buy through a dealer I've had 4 kenwoods and I've installed too many to count. The 397 which is the excelon entry unit and its everything you'll probably need.
