Changing seat color
Hello all, I'm a newbie here. I have been registered here for quiet sometime just looking around and reading some posts. I'm new to the forum but not to Ford trucks, my first truck was a 1965 Ford 300/6 with a 4 speed some 35 years ago. Been building them ever since.
I have a question about changing the color of a seat I put in my truck. My interior is red, the seat in question is kind of a light brown or sand color. My truck is a 94 and the seat came from a 98. I had to modify the seat brackets but it all fits very nicely. Everything is safe and secure, no movement at all, so I really would like to keep this seat in the truck. I was going for a (lower in cab)ride and that is exactly what I got. I'm happy with everything except the color.
My question is....do those rattle can fabric dies work on seats? Is one better than the other? Does anyone make factory looking covers for these seats? Anything I can do to get a red seat.
