Default Insert on dash

Just to the right of the speedometer there's a small box where the four wheel drive buttons are supposed to be. It's in a rectangular form. because I have a floor shifter for the 4 by 4, I wanna put something in the dash there, and I not sure what would be cool. Does anyone have ideas or pics of stuff that they have done?

I put my missile switches there for my lights its great theres plenty of room behind there. there should be enough room for at least 5 of them.

Ill take a picture of them when there is light out. thought i had a picture of them you can kind of see it in the left hand corner of the pic haha

That's really awesome! I was thinking I def need to leave room for a fog light switch for when I get them but maybe something that tells me the temperature or something like that. Has anyone got something electronic in their car that they wish could be mounted in-dash?

Ps. That red trim looks fantastic!

thanks can of krylon and about 5 coats did that. If you take a look at my picture agan i have a combination thermometer clock and compass on the dash its that black thing. there's enough room to mount a gauge in there as theres enough room for them behind there. like a trans temp oil pressure or total vac pressure gauge.

Here ya go..

When I get the cash, I'm going to get the Harbor Freight oil pressure gauge to match my tach. It has the 7 color changeable led. You'll have to do some trimming behind the insert for the oil pressure gauge. Not enough room for the tubing connector. You could use an electrical oil pressure gauge, but that defeats the purpose of a backup gauge for knowing exactly what the pressure is.

you could do something similar to this.

where the screen is, is normally a little cubby hole.
