Default 1989 Ford F-150 Lighting

Hey guys, i was searching the forums on lighting and guage clusters etc but i wanted to ask my own questions. Im currently chasing an electrical short that has gotten to the point to where my whol dash is off right now. Since im this far into it i was thinking about changing out my dash lights. I wanted to go for a black/red theme. I want my dash lights to be red. I dont really want any white cluster over lays but just red lights maybe an all black cluster? Its hard for me to find anything for a 1989 for some reason and i have been lookin for awhile now. I need to know where is the best place to get my red lightbulb replacements? what should i replace and what shouldnt i? some people said not to replace the turning signals because they are usually too bright etc so that is just opinion that im askin for i guess. There seems to be a lot more mods for 70's fords than the 80's i was also gonna ask about if anyone knew of any halo projector head lights for my year of truck? Hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction =) Thanks for your time!

I thought it said Lightning.

There is no aftermarket support for '87-'91, as far as appearance items go.

I know one guy took LED strips and just stuck them on the cluster and around the gauges. I dont know how it turned out though. I was going to put blue lights in my gauge cluster on my 95, but I guess I have to remove the green tint otherwise the blue lights will still look green

Take a bulb out and take it to your auto parts store, see what they can come up with.
