I've got a '95 F150 Flareside and it's a pretty solid old truck, checked all the underbody and couldn't find a single bit of rust, EXCEPT for the tubular mounts on the side running boards. Both sides are completely rusted out and were only being held on by the two bolts on each end of the actual fiberglass pieces. I had to take them off to avoid one of them falling off going down the road they were so far gone! These are the factory pieces and I cannot find any of the tube mounts for these things ANYWHERE. Anyone know where I could find some?

Just a observation but those look just like the lund brand side step might have some luck looking how those mount?

Those brackets ALL rust out - bad design and I haven't heard of anyone who sells them. Most guys end up doing a custom fabrication.

This has been discussed several times, you would think someone with good fab skills would make some for sale

I thought the same thing, however I was kinda thinking a muffler shop might could bend some slightly bigger stainless to match the factory shape? I was hoping someone would know where to find them but I guess I'll end up having to have some made lol. Thanks for the feedback!

Look in salvage yards in the dessert areas of the U.S. Things stay PRISTINE out there due to zero humidity and very little rain that's where I got mine. Just look for trucks being parted out on Craigslist in that area of the U.S. Happy hunting.

Late reply sorry. Not sure if you found an answer but I have these saved for a future maybe on my truck.

They asking 500 bucks for the pair though and I don't know if I am willing to pay that price.

Yeah I don't think I'd ever pay $500 for a set of tube mounts. I just used zip ties and magic and mine are staying on fine for now lol. I mean it's not really serving much purpose other than looking good because my Flareside didn't look right to me without them.

That's probably 500 US too. I had a set show up here, came off a Bronco from Florida. I'm thinking I'll sell them for 300 - CDN. If I don't just keep them; I tend to hoard mint parts. It's a sickness, I know.

Oh trust me, you aren't the only one! I've got a blue steering wheel and column from another OBS Ford that I bought just because it was in good shape haha. I have no need for it (especially since it's a blue steering wheel and my interior is black and grey) but I got it anyway lol.
