I just recently bought a 96' F150 and the wheels, especially the front wheels, are pretty dirty. Does anyone now an easy way to get them clean? I was going to try this Eagle One Nevr-Dull wadding polish, seems to have good reviews for cleaning all kinds of metal. This is what my front wheels look like with the brake dust. Thanks!

I have the same problem. I just bought a '94 with some gnarly wheels. I tried a little brass cleaner with a wax applicator pad. Worked pretty well

You could try aluminum foil. Wet the wheel and foil with soapy water. Works well and doesn't scratch.

Reviving this as I'm about to polish up an old set. I'll post pics as I go. Starting with stripping off the clear coat.
Here's all 4 that I'm starting with. Going to hit them with oven cleaner as that's worked for me before.

Oven cleaner didn't touch them.
4 hours with a brass brush and paint stripper and now I can sand them.

SIL recently got an uncared for '91 F-150. Has rims like the pics above. He used muriatic acid undiluted in a spray bottle. Let them set a bit then hit them with a steam jenny. Look like new. I'll get him to send some pics. Doubt if he has before ones though. I tried it on my '96 Blazer's HEAVY oxidized rims. Wouldn't remove the oxidation but cleaned up the other areas well. I just used a garden hose to rinse.

Acid will only clean them up if there's no clear coat on them.
This is after I stripped them using paint stripper and a brass brush.
As you can see, they're heavily pitted and oxidized. Time to start sanding.
