Best place to get window felts

my 96 needs window felts just at each side of where the window slides down into the door. any recommendation of where and what brand is best to get.

I would appreciate any advice

Fairchild KF2007 will give you all 4 felts and two door seals for about $80 at rockauto. It is a steal because the indicvidual parts cost about $25 apiece separately. There is also a kit that includes new window channel felt for about $30 more.

I got these for my truck and it came with the window felts, channels, and door seals: https://www.carparts.com/details/For...CNF452114.html
They're good quality and really make a difference in how the windows work and keeping the road noise out. One key thing to do after getting the window channels in is to spray them down with silicone to really make the windows work well!

There's not one that stands out - for a long time, they simply weren't available new, so the fact that there's even 1 manufacturer now (and there might be ONLY 1, supplying all the retailers under a few labels) is an improvement.

yeah. several folks suggested I just hit a "pick and pay" lot

I wouldn't waste a dime on used ones unless they're still soft & perfect (which you're not likely to find on a >22-year-old truck). I think of them sort of like oil or tires - buy the best you can find, but don't be surprised when they need replacement again.

I ordered mine online from Dennis Carpenter. They were a perfect fit. The holes they slip into on the door panel are sometimes worn or broken. I had to drill a small hole on the front, middle, and back. I then used a pop rivet to help fasten them to the door panel.

Lmc will have them. Their quality is usually not too of the line but you get what you pay for
