Default Any way to install lights on the roof without having to drill holes?

I really want to install some nice, halogen, lights on the roof of my truck but I really don’t want to be drilling holes in my roof.
The metal on top is pretty thin and there is a lot of rust on top too.
So Im just looking for ways to mount the lights without using a drill.

Get brackets like this, put a bar between them and bolt your lights to the bar.

If you have a way of keeping them in place while the adhesive sets up, 3M 5200 will work. I have lights mounted to the fiberglass on my boat and they have been there a decade. Not much worse environment than that.

best of luck

The roof is actually a dual layer system. There is an air gap between the cosmetic metal on top, and the metal you see from in the cab. I understand not wanting to drill it, but that's about the only way. You can drill the top layer, and run wires between layers so you have no holes on the interior layer.

Or use big ole LED bar brackets like listed above.

I think Carr Makes a bar the attaches to the rain gutter that you can bolt lights too.

Magnetic battery-powered lights, or luminescent paint (or electroluminescent paint)!

Anything else is gonna require wires, and if don't want the wires to show, or the light/bracket to overhang a seam, you're gonna have to drill a hole.
