1990 F-150 XLT - Remove stripes & glue
I'm getting ready to paint my '90. I already carefully removed most of the OEM pin striping with a razor blade.
What's the best way to get the glue off of the body where the stripes were? Chemical, heat gun, I dunno?

Stripe Tape
I just purchased a 1990 F-150 XLT Lariat. It's really clean, except the stripe tape on the side is all cracked and faded. It looks horrible. Is this tape still available somewhere? Sorry. I know this is an old thread

No, the lower multi-stripe tape is not available anywhere I've found, and I've checked MANY suppliers over the years.
The upper pinstripe might be available - check auto paint stores, auto part stores, & etailers.
