Twin turbo 302 over heating

Ok. I saw part of your sig about your exhaust.
Have you thought about a higher cfm fan for the radiator to see if it will keep it cooler? Or a reverse flow fan to help push some more air through the system?

That's the highest cfm fan I can get that will fit that rad. And really 3k should be more than enough to keep that thing cool. I have a 4k dual on my sig truck an it cools that thing off in a few mins. I'll try to send a pic of the engine bay later today. The turbo engines in an 81 gmc 1500 chassis. So it's a little different setup than an f150 as far as the rad is set up.

I'll try that, I had thought of that awhile back but didn't think it would yield me anything. It's a cheap try tho. Got a 16 waitin at the parts store.

I know you said you have a 2 core radiator. Is there anything bigger that might fit in there? I wouldn't think it being 2 core aluminum that it would have a problem cooling, but it's one idea. And I'm assuming that all of the fins are like new with none folded over from impact or anything.
Have you thought about adding hood vents either at the back of your hood or on each side above the exhaust manifolds? If you are pulling that much air through your radiator it might not be escaping enough below the truck or out the sides. It's just a thought though.

Yeah it was hard enough as it was to find this rad, most anything I found was 2 1" core anyway. Some were 3 core but they were long and narrow.
Yeah I have turbo blankets, everything is ceramic coated and wrapped.

One more option.....do you monitor your oil temperature? With your oil being run through two turbos, it has to be quite a bit hotter than normal. Are you running an oil cooler?
