I went with the 1/2" below the hole method. Getting the oil out was easy, I drove around and warmed it up then used my "secret weapon", a deep fried turkey infection needle to pull it out. Go ahead and laugh... that thing works on all kinds of things, removes brake fluid from a master cylinder or a power steering pump, injects ATF into a M5OD R2 tranny and many other around the house things as well. Anyway well see if the level really makes that much of a difference or not.
