performance
I have a 1994 F150 with a 302 and EAOD, do not know if this is common or if others have had the same issue. When I start off the truck goes through the gears fine but seems a little sluggish, but when the rpm reaches 2300-2500 the truck comes alive, does this appear normal? The truck has a Jasper reman motor and transmission with roughly 15-18000 miles. The truck runs like a top with no other issues, just thought this was odd.

Welcome to the world of the small block ford engine - it's pretty much gutless below 2500rpm. Bumping the timing to 12-14 BTDC might give you a little added oomph.

Thanks Truth, is there a thread on here on how to do that?
On later models with a fender mounted ignition control module, the spout connector will be on the fender as well. |
Awesome...thanks Brother |
