Default E4OD Tranny ?

Hello guys and gals I have a question I hope someone can answer.
I have a 1995 Ford F150 1/2 ton 4x4 with a 5.8, my question is, does it have the e4od transmission and if so should it have a kick down cable ?

I just had open heart surgery and had my wife take my truck to the shop to have the steering gear box changed along with brakes, rotors turned an alignment and power steering hose.

When I got it back it was ideling super high and the exhaust was nearly touching the ground, so sent it back again and they fixed the two problems, but after raising the hood on it today I noticed the plastic cover that covers the throttle cables etc. was laying on the alternator and there is no kick down cable. There is a spot for one though.

I had my son search for a cable thinking maybe it slipped out or some crazy happening, but he found nothing. I am not cleared to drive yet due to sternum wires, but was told it probably does not have a kick down cable.

Thanks in advance

No kickdown cable no. Your tranny is fully electronic.
That extra spot would be for a cruise control cable, I would think.
